Maxime Verhagen is Associate Partner at Meines Holla & Partners. Maxime brings an impressive track record to our firm. He served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the CDA in the Balkenende IV cabinet. Subsequently, he held the position of Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture, and Innovation, as well as Deputy Prime Minister in the Rutte I cabinet. Following his extensive political career, Verhagen was the Chairman of Bouwend Nederland, the association for construction and infrastructure companies.
In his new role at Meines Holla & Partners, Maxime Verhagen will focus on advising clients on strategic advocacy and creating effective lobbying strategies. With his knowledge, experience, and network, he bridges the gap between the business community and the government, and between practice and policy. His insight into the (political) decision-making process and his extensive network will assist our clients in achieving their public affairs objectives.
